My mission:
My mission is to capture the beauty in life. To see that special thing or moment in my lens, then capture it and share it. I want to give you moments in time, to look at, to see, to remember, and to touch your heart.
My goal:
Is to give you something special. A portrait that is a work of art. Perfect lighting, perfect expression, something different than the run of the mill mall portrait. Photography is my passion, my goal to give you something original and extraordinary.
My Story:
My name is Jacquie and I was born and raised in Northern California. I have 2 beautiful children, both boys. They are both grown and married now. I spent hours taking pictures of them as they grew up. Capturing the smiles, the moments, everything I could. I remember when my oldest was about 2 days old, I thought - I need to take pictures of him every day! Because he changes so fast, I might forget what he looked like. That is where photography began for me, and continues to this day. I need to capture those things that change, or happen only once, before they are gone.
When my boys were grown, I decided to go to Photography school. I chose The Hallmark Institute of Photography. It is located in Massachusetts, and is a 10 month program. A little far from home, but their reputation for teaching both photography and the aspects of owning your own business was the best choice for me.
So I loaded up my little Honda car with as much stuff as I could, and I started my 5 day adventure of driving across the USA for the first time ever and by myself. My Mom was worried about me :-) I arrived safe and sound in Greenfield Ma, where I attended and graduated from The Hallmark Institute of Photography.
I was a good photographer before I went, but now I am a professional photographer and have been trained how to use the tools of my trade in my own artistic way.
